Whereas before economy lards had little taste and a lumpy texture, Fatsters has researched the market and learnt that the more penny-conscious buyer still demands taste and smoothness from their lard. This is the result and we were very impressed with its performance - chips tasted great and pastry made with it was barely discernible from a higher priced fat.
